Muslim Writers of Canada is a body of young Muslims (between the ages of 15 and 40) whose goal is to defend the teachings of Islam and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the media.
Muslims Writers of Canada was established as “Majlis Ansar Sultanul Qalam” (MASQ) by Hazrat Musleh Mau’ud (ra) in 1922. This title means ‘a committee to help the King of the pen’. ‘Sultanul Qalam’ or ‘King of the Pen’ is a revealed title of the Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as).
In accordance with these teachings, the Promised Messiah (as) wrote 91 books which comprehensively silenced the enemies of Islam and established its truth.
The Promiesd Messiah (as) stated, “It is with the pen that Islam is being attacked. That is why it is necessary that the pen should be used to refute the attacks.” (Malfoozat Vol. 8, pg. 20)
