I agree with Pope Francis. Religious leaders should be at the forefront condemning the atrocious acts being committed in the name of religion. Irrespective if you belong to a faith being distorted, but it is unfortunate their voices at times are drowned out by the media. One leader who speaks out against all injustices is Mirza Masroor Ahmad, head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. He has tirelessly been conveying the message of peace and justice in places of high recognition. During a reception held at Los Angeles he stated “The key to peace is to stop cruelty and oppression wherever it occurs with justice and equality. Only when this principle is followed will global peace develop. This will only happen when the people of the world come to recognize their creator. It is my ardent hope and prayer that the entire world urgently comes to understand the needs of the time before it is too late.” This is just a taste of his eloquent speech; it is leaders like this who should be shown on our televisions rather than those who create disorder on the earth.
