Let’s be honest, Islamophobia is on the rise here at home. That’s a fact. The question is, what can we do about it? The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) has an answer. AMYA has been tirelessly confronting this predicament for decades on end, and just recently hosted a nationwide campaign called Coffee and Islam. Opening their doors for judgment-free conversations over a cup of Joe (or tea), local Muslims hope their fellow Canadians are willing to grasp onto this olive branch.
